These pictures are from a climb of the West Ridge of Forbidden Peak, a deserved classic. The ridge is exposed, solid, scenic, and simply a lot of fun. We had the opportunity (ok, not planned) to enjoy a bivy at the base of the ridge on our descent. As it turned out, that bivy site afforded some expansive views when the sun arose the next morning. |
